Ingredients
- 3 tbsp olive oil, plus more for brushing
- 1 1/2 tbsp white wine vinegar
- Pinch of sugar
- 8 cups torn kale
- 1 cup thinly sliced red onion
- 2 slices white bread
- Dijon
- 2 slices Fontina
Directions

In a large bowl, whisk 3 tbsp olive oil with vinegar and sugar. Massage with kale and onion; season. Make a sandwich with bread, mustard and cheese; brush with olive oil. In skillet, cook over medium heat until golden on both sides. Cut sandwich into quarters and sprinkle on salad.
