Maple-Bourbon Bacon French Toast

Ingredients

  • The Bread: 8 slices potato bread
  • The Dip: Replace the milk in the egg mixture with buttermilk and whisk in 1 tbsp plus 1 1/2 tsp bourbon.

Directions

  1. The Toppers: Mix 1/2 cup warmed maple syrup with 1 tbsp bourbon. Drizzle over the French toast; top with cooked bacon.
