Soft Garlic Bread Sticks

Ingredients
- 1 C plus 2 T water (70 to 80 degrees)
- 2T olive oil
- 3 T grated parmesan cheese
- 2 T sugar
- 3 t garlic powder (or less)
- 1 1/2 t salt
- 1/4 t dried basil
- 3 C flour
- 2 t active dry yeast
- 1 T butter, melted

In bread machine pan, place the first 9 ingredients in order suggested by manufacturer. Select dough setting (Check dough after 5 min, Add 1 -2 T of water is needed) When cycle is completed, turn dough onto a lightly floured surface. Divide into 20 portions. Shape each into a ball, roll each into a 9" rope. Place on greased baking sheet or one lined with parchment paper. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 40 min or until doubled. Bake at 350 degrees for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to wire racks. Brush warm breadsticks with butter.
