Ingredients
- Meat from one small pie pumpkin
- 1 qt chicken stock
- 1 celery stalk strings removed
- 1 lg onion finely chopped
- 1/4 c finely chopped green pepper
- 1 clove garlic chopped
- 1/2 Tbs tarragon
- dash Worcestershire sauce
- splash of cooking sherry
- 1 c half & Half
- 1Tbs butter
Directions

Sauté: finely chopped onion, green pepper, garlic and celery in butter and sherry until golden. Blend in blender: sautéed vegetables, 1 c stock, 1 c pumpkin, tarragon and Worcestershire sauce. Return blended mix to stock pit with remaining stock and pumpkin and blend. Stir in half/half – reheat and serve.
