Ingredients

  • 2 C sugar
  • 2 C butter (1 lb)
  • 6 T water
  • 2 t vanilla
  • 6 or more oz chocolate

Directions

  1. bring sugar, butter and water to a boil stirring until mixture thickens and turns a light caramel color

  2. remove from heat and add vanilla

  3. pour into 9 × 13 inch pan

  4. melt chocolate in double boiler and spread over top—can add nuts
