Ingredients
- 2 C sugar
- 2 C butter (1 lb)
- 6 T water
- 2 t vanilla
- 6 or more oz chocolate
Directions

bring sugar, butter and water to a boil stirring until mixture thickens and turns a light caramel color

remove from heat and add vanilla

pour into 9 × 13 inch pan

melt chocolate in double boiler and spread over top—can add nuts
