Sweet Chipotle Steak Tips

Ingredients
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1 tbsp. pureed chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 lbs. steak tips
- 2 tbsp. vegetable oil, divided
- Garnish: chopped green onion
Directions

In a large bowl, whisk together honey, brown sugar, pureed chipotles, garlic, salt and pepper until combined. Stir in steak until well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes or up to overnight.

In a large cast-iron skillet, heat 1 tbsp. oil over high heat. Add half of steak; cook, stirring frequently, until browned on all sides and cooked through, about 5 minutes. Remove from skillet and keep warm. Repeat with remaining 1 tbsp. oil and remaining steak. Garnish with green onion.
