Ingredients
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 1/2 tsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup chopped shallots
- 1 lb. fresh cremini mushrooms
- 1 tbsp red wine or red wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire
- 2 tsp minced fresh thyme
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Garnish: fresh thyme leaves
Directions

In a large skillet, melt butter with oil over medium heat. Add shallot; cook for 3 minutes. Stir in mushrooms, wine, Worcestershire, and thyme, and reduce heat to low. Cover and cook until mushrooms are just tender, about 10 minutes. Stir in salt and pepper. Garnish with thyme, if desired.
