Ingredients

• 1 large ice cube, plus ice for mixing
• 2 oz. tawny port
• 2 oz. mescal
• 1/2 oz. Gran Classico
• Bitter liqueur OR 1/2 0z. Campari Plus 1 tsp. dry curacao
• Twist of orange peel, for garnish

Directions

1. Put the ice cube in a rocks glass.

2. Fill a mixing glass with ice, then add the port. mescal and liqueur, stir briefly to chill.

3. Strain into the glass. Twist the orange peel over the surface of the drink to express the oils, then drop it into the glass.
