Beef Filet with Balsamic Vinegar

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 lb. beef filet
  • 1 1/2 oz. all-purpose flour (8 Tbsp.)
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • salt to taste

Directions

  1. Cut filet into four slices, coat in flour, shaking to remove excess. Put filets on a greased baking sheet and then season with salt.

  2. Heat oil in a large skillet set over high heat. Add beef and cook on both sides until brown; remove from pan. Add stock and stir, scraping up any browned bits from the skillet. Sere beef with sauce.
