Ham and Cheese Sandwich Balls

Ingredients

  • 7.5 oz. box bread mix
  • 2 tbsp. olive or vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs, divided
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup diced ham
  • 2 tbsp. grainy mustard
  • 1/4 cup plus 1 tbsp. water
  • 1 tsp kosher or coarse salt
  • 1 tsp dried onion

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a large bowl, combine the bread mix, oil, 2 eggs, cheese, ham, mustard and 1/4 cup water. Dump the mixture onto a clean work surface and knead until the dough is smooth. Divide the mixture into 20 equal-sized balls. Place the balls on the prepared baking sheet.

  3. Whisk the remaining eggs with 1 tbsp. water. Brush the balls with the egg mixture. Combine the salt and dried onion and sprinkle on top of the balls. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve immediately.
