Beef Burger Barrel’s Teriyaki Burger

Ingredients

  • 2 medium onions, sliced
  • 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil, divided
  • 1 Tbsp. + 1/3 cup Kikkoman Teriyaki Marinade and Sauce
  • 1 1/4 lb. lean ground beef
  • 6 hamburger buns
  • Mayonnaise
  • Mustard, optional
  • Lettuce leaves and tomato slices, optional

Directions

  1. Saute onions in 2 Tbsp. hot oil in large skillet over medium heat 8 minutes, or until golden brown, stirring frequently.

  2. Place in bowl; stir in 1 Tbsp. teriyaki sauce.

  3. Combine beef and 1/3 cup teriyaki sauce; shape into 6 patties.

  4. Heat remaining oil in same skillet over medium heat. Add patties; cook to desired doneness, turning over once.

  5. Spread buns with mayonnaise and mustard: top with burgers, onions, lettuce and tomato. Cover with bun tops.
