Beef Liver

Ingredients

  • Flour, salt and pepper
  • 1 lb. liver, sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. shortening
  • 1/2 cup water

Directions

  1. Combine flour, salt and pepper. Dredge liver in seasoned flour on both sides.

  2. Heat pressure cooker and add shortening. Brown liver on both sides. Place meat on cooking rack and add water. Close cover securely. Place regulator on vent pipe and cook 5 minutes with regulator rocking slowly. Let pressure drop of its own accord.
