Ingredients

• 2c flour
• 1/2 tsp powder
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/8 tsp soda
• 10 tbsp. butter
• 1/2 c brown sugar
• 1/4 c sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp vanilla
• food coloring (red, green, yellow)
• milk

Directions

1. Beat butter and sugars until fluffy.

2. Beat in egg and vanilla.

3. Add dry ingredients 1/3 at a time.

4. Divide into 3 equal parts and color each part.

5. Chill in refrigerator overnight.

6. Roll each color into 9×5 rectangle between wax paper.

7. Cut each rectangle in half lengthwise.

8. Layer, alternating colors, bonding with milk.

9. Chill for 3 hours.

10. Slice and bake at 350 for 8 minutes
