Beef Miroton

Ingredients

  • 6 onions
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp. fat
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 cup bouillon
  • Salt and pepper
  • 12 slices cooked beef
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs

Directions

  1. Slice onions and brown in fat. Add flour and brown. Then add vinegar and bouillon. Cook together until lightly thickened, stirring constantly. Season with salt and pepper.

  2. Heat slices of beef in the sauce for a few minutes. Pour into baking dish. Sprinkle with crumbs and bake at 400 degrees. 10 minutes.
