Port Augusta Barge Rice

Ingredients
- 1 lb. hamburger meat
- 1 onion, chopped (optional)
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 (10 oz.) can Ro-Tel diced tomatoes and green chiles
- 1 can beer or water
- 1 cup grated cheese
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 2 jalapeno peppers, chopped
- 1 small can chopped green chiles
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp. hot sauce
- 1 Tbsp. chile powder
- 1/2 tp. ground black pepper
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup sour cream
Directions

In a large skillet, brown beef; drain. Return meat to skillet and saute onion (if using) and bell pepper with the meat. Stir in Ro-Tel, beer, cheese, rice, jalapenos, green chiles, the salt, hot sauce chile powder, black pepper and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer 5 to 10 minutes. Stir in sour cream and cook until heated through, but do not boil.
