Ingredients
- 1 lb. boneless beef sirloin, cut 3/4 inch thick
- 1/4 to 1 tsp. coarsely ground pepper
- 2 tsp. cooking oil
- 1 large red onion thinly sliced, separated into rings

Cut the steak into 4 equal portions and rub both sides with the ground pepper.

-
To serve, arrange steaks on plates; spoon onion mixture on top.
