Pepperoni Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 12 pepperoni slices, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 8 oz. can unsalted tomato sauce
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/8 tsp sugar

Directions

  1. Heat olive oil in a medium skillet over medium-high. Add oregano, red pepper, pepperoni, and garlic; saute 2 minutes. Add tomato sauce, salt and sugar; cook, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened, about 4 minutes.
