Ingredients
- 2 lb. round steak
- 1Tbsp. fat
- 1 quart hot water
- 2 cups diced potatoes
- 1 cup diced turnips
- 1 cup diced carrots
- 1/2 cup diced parsnips
- 1 cup diced celery
- 1 green pepper, diced
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 2 beef bouillon cubes
Directions

Roll meat in seasoned flour. Brown thoroughly in hot fat. Cover with hot water. Simmer 2 hours- adding water if needed.

Add remaining ingredients. Cook until vegetables are tender, about 30 minutes.
