Potato Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. southern style has browns
  • 1/4 c. + 2 T. butter or margarine
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 12 oz. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion (green or yellow)
  • 2 C. grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 C. crushed corn flakes

Directions

  1. Pour 1/4 C. melted butter or margarine in to 9 × 13 baking pan. Add 1/2 pkg of frozen hash browns. mis soup sour cream, milk and onions in separate bowl. Pour 1/2 mixture over hash browns. Sprinkle 1 c. grated cheese on top. Add remainder of mixture and hash browns. Sprinkle remaining 1 c. cheese, then cover with the crunched corn flakes combined with the 2 T. melted butter.

  2. Bake 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
