Watercress Benedictine Tea Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup trimmed watercress
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp jalapeno hot sauce
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt
  • 8 slices whole-wheat bread
  • Thinly sliced cucumber
  • Chopped chives

Directions

  1. Puree cream cheese in a mini food processor with watercress, sour cream, hot sauce and kosher salt; spread on 4 slices of bread. Top with cucumber and sprinkle with chives; season with salt and pepper. Top with 4 more slices bread; trim the crusts and cut into pieces.
