Ingredients
- 1 garlic clove, halved
- 8 oz. grated gruyere
- 8 oz. grated emmentaler cheese
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 cup dry white wine
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- Freshly grated nutmeg
- Black pepper
Directions

Rub the inside of a fondue pot with the cut sides of the garlic. Toss cheeses with cornstarch. Bring wine to a simmer in a medium saucepan. Gradually whisk in the cheeses until melted and smooth, then stir in lemon juice and season with nutmeg and pepper. Serve in the fondue pot.
