Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
- 1/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs
- 2 tsp Worcestershire
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
Directions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, and 1 tsp Worcestershire. Divide the mixture into 4 patties.

In a large skillet, heat 2 tbsp olive oil and 1 tbsp butter over medium-high heat.

Add the patties to the skillet and cook on each side until cooked all the way through.

Place the patties on a plate and set aside.

Add the sliced onions to the same skillet over medium-high heat and cook for 5 minutes.

Add the broth, ketchup, the other tsp of Worcestershire, salt and pepper to the skillet.

In a small bowl, whisk together the cornstarch and 1 tbsp water. Whisk this mixture into the skillet. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to low.

Add the patties back to the skillet and heat through.
