Ingredients
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tsp sesame seeds
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 2 scallions, sliced
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 lb. sliced rib-eye steak
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 2 carrots, sliced
- Vegetable oil
- Scallions, for serving
Directions

Whisk soy sauce with sugar, sesame oil, sesame seeds, garlic, scallions, red pepper flakes and black pepper. Add steak and onion; marinate 1 hour. Stir-fry carrots in vegetable oil, 2 minutes; remove. Stir-fry beef with the marinade in batches, 2 minutes. Add the carrots; toss. Top with scallions.
