Chili-Rubbed Flank Steak

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 2 lbs. flank steak
Directions

In a small bowl, stir together sugar, garlic powder, salt, thyme, chili powder, and pepper; rub mixture all over steak. Let stand at room temp for 15 minutes.

Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

Grill steak until browned, about 4 minutes; turn and cook until desired doneness, 5-15 minutes more. Let stand for 10 minutes; slice against the grain to serve.
