Ingredients
- 1 lb. bulk Italian sausage
- Vegetable oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- Salt and pepper
- Potato slider buns
- Shredded mozzarella
Directions
- Brown sausage in vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat with onion, bell pepper, oregano, and garlic powder, about 6 minutes. Add water and marinara sauce. Simmer until thickened, 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Serve on buns with mozzarella.
