French Dip Sliders

Ingredients

  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • Butter
  • 2 (10.5 oz.) cans beef consomme
  • 1/4 cup dry sherry
  • 1 1/4 lbs. deli-sliced roast beef
  • Slider buns
  • Salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Saute onion in butter in a large skillet over medium-low heat until deep golden, about 35 minutes; remove. Add beef consomme and sherry to the skillet and simmer 5 minutes. Add roast beef and heat through. Remove the beef from the jus and pile on slider buns with the onion; season with salt and pepper. Serve with the jus for dipping.
