Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups unsalted butter, softened
- 5 cups confectioners' sugar
- 1 tbsp whole milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
- Food coloring

In a large bowl, beat butter with a mixer at medium speed until creamy. Reduce mixer speed to low. Gradually add confectioners’ sugar, milk, vanilla and salt, beating until well combined. Divide buttercream among small bowls, and tint with food coloring, if desired. Use immediately.
