Marinara Sauce

Use for Meatball Sandwiches or Personal-Pan Lasagnas

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, smashed
  • 2- 28 oz. cans whole tomatoes with their juices
  • Salt
  • 6-7 basil leaves

Directions

  1. Cover the bottom of a large, shallow, straight-sided pan with the olive oil.

  2. Over low heat, saute the garlic until fragrant. Add the tomatoes and their juices, squishing them with your hands as you go.

  3. Add the salt and basil. Cook over low heat for 15-20 minutes.
