Ingredients
- 1 1/2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- 3/4 lb. ground pork
- 1 tsp Chinese five-spice powder
- 2 tbsp. brown sugar
- 3 tbsp. soy sauce
- 8-10 sturdy Bibb or Romaine lettuce leaves
- 1 carrot, shredded
- 1 cucumber, peeled and julienned
- Chopped peanuts
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 4 tbsp. lime juice
Directions

In a skillet over medium-low heat, cook 1 clove of the garlic in the oil until fragrant, about 2 minutes.

Add the pork, five-spice powder, brown sugar and 1 tbsp. of the soy sauce. Raise heat to high and cook until the pork is browned, 8-10 minutes.

Scoop the pork mixture into the lettuce leaves. Garnish with the carrot, cucumber and peanuts.

Combine the sugar and lime juice with the remaining garlic and soy sauce to make the dipping sauce.
