Ingredients
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1/2 sweet onion, thinly sliced
- 16 oz. package frozen meatballs, thawed, halved, and warmed
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 2 garlic cloves, grated
- 16 oz. loaf French bread, halved
- Easy Pizza Sauce (see recipe)
- 8 oz. package shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions

Preheat oven to 400. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a medium skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add bell pepper and onion; saute until tender. Add warm meatballs and oregano. Remove from heat; keep warm.

In a small bowl, combine butter and garlic. Spread garlic butter onto cut sides of bread. Place on prepared pan.

Bake until bread begins to crisp, about 5 minutes. Spread 1/4 cup Easy Pizza Sauce onto each bread half, and top with bell pepper mixture and meatballs. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake 10 minutes more. Serve warm with additional Easy Pizza Sauce.
