Ingredients
- 8 slices bacon
- 2 lbs. ground beef
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 6 dashes Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- Black pepper, to taste
- 8 slider buns, split
- Ketchup and mayo, for serving
- 8 small leaves romaine lettuce, cut in half
- 2 Roma tomatoes, thinly sliced
Directions
-
Preheat the broiler. Fry the bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat until slightly crisp, about 8 minutes. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate and break each strip in half.
-
Combine the ground beef, heavy cream, Worcestershire, salt and black pepper in a bowl and mix thoroughly with your hands. Form into 16 patties, about 3 inches in diameter. Place on a broiler pan or a wire rack set on a rimmed baking sheet.
-
Broil the patties until just cooked through, 4 to 5 minutes, rotating the pan halfway through. Spread the slider buns with ketchup and mayo. Place the patties on the buns and top with the lettuce, tomato and bacon. Skewer with toothpicks.
