Ingredients
- 1 tbsp. unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup diced mild pickled jalapeno slices
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 8 oz. yellow American, cut into 1/2-inch chunks
- 8 oz. white American cheese, cut into 1/2-inch chunks
- 1 cup half-and-half

In a small Dutch oven, melt butter over medium heat. Add jalapeno and garlic; cook for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to low. Stir in cheeses and half-and-half; cook, stirring frequently, until cheese is melted and mixture is smooth, 25 to 30 minutes.
