Pecan Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 8 boneless pork chops
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp ground mustard
  • 2 tbsp. butter, softened
  • 2 tsp cider vinegar
  • 3 tbsp. chopped pecans

Directions

  1. Broil pork chops 4-5 inches from the heat for 4 minutes. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine the sugar, cornstarch, salt and mustard. Stir in the butter and vinegar until smooth.

  2. Turn the chops over and broil for 2 minutes longer. Spoon about 2 tsp sugar mixture on the top of each chop. Broil until cooked through, 2-3 minutes. Top each chop with 1 tsp pecans. Broil until pecans are toasted, about 1 minute longer. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
