Ingredients
- 17.5 oz. package potato gnocchi
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
- Black pepper
- Pinch of nutmeg
- 1/2 cup shredded gruyere
- Chopped chives, for topping
Directions

Boil gnocchi as directed. Reserve 1/4 cup cooking water; drain. Simmer heavy cream, garlic, salt, pepper and nutmeg in an ovenproof skillet, 5-8 minutes. Stir in the gnocchi and thin with the cooking water. Top with gruyere. Broil until golden, 3-4 minutes. Top with chives.
