Ingredients
- Classic Cinnamon Rolls (see recipe)
- Dark brown sugar instead of light brown
- Toffee-Pecan Sauce (in place of icing):
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/4 cup dark corn syrup
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1 cup chopped toasted pecans

Make Classic Cinnamon rolls. For the filling, use dark brown sugar instead of light brown. Replace the icing with toffee-pecan sauce.

Toffee-Pecan Sauce: Bring butter, dark brown sugar, dark corn syrup, heavy cream, and salt to a boil in a saucepan. Reduce the heat to a simmer and cook until thickened, 8-12 minutes. Stir in pecans. Cook, stirring, until coated, 1 to 2 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, then pour over the rolls.
