Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups pecans
- 1/2 egg white
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/2 cup coconut sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp chili powder
- 3 tsp water
Directions

Spray crock with nonstick spray.

Place the pecans in the crock.

In a small bowl, whisk together the 1/2 egg white and vanilla until it is frothy. Pour this over the pecans and stir until they’re evenly coated.

In a separate bowl, mix the brown sugar, coconut sugar, cinnamon and chili powder. Pour this over the nuts and stir until they’re evenly coated.

Cover and cook on LOW for 3 hours, stirring every 20 minutes. When there are 20 minutes left of cooking, stir in the water and recover the crock.

When cooking time is over, spread the pecans out on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Let cool for 1 hour.
