- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 2 heaping tbsp. red pepper flakes

In a small saucepan, warm the oil over medium-high heat until a pepper flake sizzles slightly when you drop it in the oil. Add the red pepper flakes and cook over the lowest heat possible until fragrant, 3 to 4 minutes. Remove from the heat and cool. The oil will get spicier the longer it infuses.
