Arroz con Pollo

Ingredients

  • Chicken pieces 6
  • Sazon Goya
  • Garlic Powder
  • Onion
  • Chicken Bouillon
  • Green Pepper
  • Garlic
  • Tomato
  • Peas
  • Rice
  • Veg. Oil
  • Water

Directions

  1. Smother the chicken pieces with the Sazon Goya

  2. Fry in a heavy bottomed pot over medium-high heat to brown. Remove to platter and reserve.

  3. Blend 1/3 onion, 1/3 green pepper, 1 clove garlic, 2 roma tomatoes, 2 tsp chicken bouillon.

  4. Stir in 2 cups rice and saute 1-2 minutes.

  5. Add the mixture above, peas (drained), and 31/2 cups water.

  6. Bring to boil, reduce heat, add chicken pieces on top of rice, cover and simmer for 30 min.
