Frozen Key Lime Orange Bars

Ingredients

  • 2 packages shortbread cookies (5.3 oz. each)
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 6 tbsp. salted butter, melted
  • 2 14-oz. cans sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp lime zest
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
  • 2 tsp orange zest
  • 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
  • 5 cups frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 2 6-oz. containers Key lime yogurt
  • Garnish: orange and lime slices

Directions

  1. In the work bowl of a food processor, place cookies and sugar; process until finely ground. Add melted butter, and process until combined. Press crumb mixture into bottom of a 13×9-inch glass baking dish.

  2. In a large bowl, beat condensed milk, lime zest and juice, and orange zest and juice with a mixer at medium speed until thick and smooth, about 3 minutes. Fold in whipped topping and yogurt. Spread mixture onto prepared crust. Cover and freeze for at least 8 hours before serving or overnight. Cut into bars; garnish with orange and lime slices.
