Foil Packet Asparagus with Fresh Mint

Ingredients

  • 12 oz. asparagus, trimmed
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, chopped

Directions

  1. Build a campfire; set a grill grate on top. Layer two 18-inch squares of foil. Arrange the asparagus in the center. Dot with the butter. Top with the mint; season with salt. Lift 2 opposite ends of the foil and fold twice to seal the top. Fold each end twice to seal the packet.

  2. Transfer the packets to the grill grate. Grill until the asparagus to crisp-tender, about 10 minutes. Open the packets very carefully.
