Mayoless Slaw

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 4 cups shredded cabbage
  • 4 cups shredded carrots
  • 1 bunch scallions, thinly sliced on an angle
  • 4 jalapenos, seeded and finely chopped
  • Toasted sesame oil and sesame seeds, for serving

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk the vinegar and sugar until the sugar dissolves. Toss with the veggies. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Toss the slaw; season with salt and pepper. Drizzle with sesame oil. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
