Coffee-Rubbed Tenderloin Steaks

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp. medium-grind ground coffee
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 3/4 tsp sugar
- 3/4 tsp granulated garlic
- 3/4 tsp smoked paprika
- 3/4 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 4 beef tenderloin steaks
- 2 tbsp. unsalted butter
Directions

In a small bowl, stir together coffee, salt, sugar, granulated garlic, paprika, chili powder, cocoa and pepper. Season steaks with coffee run. Let stand at room temp for 15 minutes.

In a 12-inch cast-iron skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add steaks; cook for 5 minutes. Turn, and cook until cooked to desired doneness, 5-10 minutes more. Serve immediately.
