Bacon Pimiento Cheese Muffins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 12 oz. container bacon pimiento cheese, plus more to serve

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Spray 12 muffin cups with baking spray with flour.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, garlic salt, and baking soda. In a medium bowl, whisk together milk, oil and egg. Fold milk mixture into flour mixture until combined; fold in pimiento cheese until combined. Divide batter among prepared muffin cups.

  3. Bake until muffins are golden and spring back when touched in center, 22 to 25 minutes. Let cool in pan on a wire rack for 5 minutes; serve warm with additional pimiento cheese.
