Ingredients
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 cup chopped red onion
- 1 cup chopped orange bell pepper
- 2 tbsp. minced garlic
- 1/2 cup dry red wine
- 2 (24-oz.) jars pasta sauce
- 1 1/2 tbsp. dried Italian seasoning
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
- Colossal Meatballs (see recipe)
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 1/2 (12 oz.) packages spaghetti, cooked as directed
- Garnish: shredded Parmesan, chopped fresh parsley

In a large Dutch oven, heat oil over medium heat. Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic; cook, stirring frequently, until vegetables are softened, 3-4 minutes. Add wine, and increase heat to medium-high; cook until most of liquid is evaporated, 4-6 minutes. Add pasta sauce, Italian seasoning, sugar, salt and red pepper; reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer, stirring occasionally, for 25 minutes. Reduce heat to low; stir in Colossal Meatballs and parsley.

Divide spaghetti, sauce and Colossal Meatballs among serving plates. Garnish with cheese and parsley.
