Philly Cheesesteak Tot-chos

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. tots
  • 8 oz. thinly sliced rib-eye steak
  • Salt and pepper
  • Vegetable oil
  • 2 red bell peppers, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 pickled hot cherry peppers, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Cheez Whiz, warmed

Directions

  1. Spread tots on baking sheet and bake at 450 until golden and crisp, 30-35 minutes.

  2. Meanwhile, chop steak; season with salt and pepper. Brown in vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, 2 minutes. Remove to a plate.

  3. Add red bell peppers and onion to the skillet and saute until just tender, 5 minutes. Add hot cherry peppers and oregano; season with salt and pepper. Top the tots with the steak, onion-pepper mixture and warm Cheez Whiz.
