French Onion Tot-chos

Ingredients

  • 28 oz. tots
  • 4 tbsp. butter
  • 2 onions, sliced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tsp chopped thyme
  • 1 tbsp. flour
  • 3/4 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan
  • Chopped chives

Directions

  1. Spread tots on baking sheet and bake at 450 until golden and crisp, 30-35 minutes.

  2. Meanwhile, heat butter in a large skillet over medium-low heat. Add onions, season with salt and pepper and cook, stirring occasionally, until caramelized, 30-40 minutes. Stir in thyme and flour, then stir in beef broth and simmer until thickened. Add parmesan; broil until melted, 1-2 minutes. Top with chives.
