Ingredients
- 3 lbs. ground beef
- 2 large onions, chopped
- 2 cups water
- 5 tbsp. chili powder
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 3/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes

In a large skillet or Dutch oven, cook the beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Add water and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, until the water is absorbed, about 15 minutes.
