Ingredients
- 1 lb ground meat
- 6 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 cups water
- 4 cups beef broth
- 4 (28 ounce) jars traditional style spaghetti sauce
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2.5 lbs uncooked thin or regular spaghetti, broken into thirds
- parmesan cheese or shredded cheese (for serving)
Directions

1 Brown meat with garlic, pepper, and onion. Drain if needed.

2 Stir in water, broth, spaghetti sauce, salt, sugar, pepper flakes. Stir in spaghetti. Bring to a boil, stirring often to keep noodles from sticking together.

3 Boil/simmer 15 minutes or until spaghetti is cooked through, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.

4 Serve with Parmesan cheese or shredded cheese.
