Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp. light-color corn syrup
- 2 tbsp. water
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups chopped semisweet chocolate

Preheat oven to 375.

Stir together flour, baking soda and salt in a bowl. In a large bowl, beat together butter and peanut butter with an electric mixer 30 seconds. Beat in brown and white sugars until smooth. Beat in eggs, 1 at a time, then add corn syrup, water and vanilla. Beat in flour mixture, then fold in chocolate pieces. Drop by 3-tbsp portions 3 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.

Bake until edges are golden, 11-12 minutes. Let cool 2 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
