Ingredients
- one lb lean ground beef
- 2 TBS cooking oil
- 1/4 Cup onion, chopped
- 1lb 12 oz can tomatoes, reserve 1/4 liquid
- 1/2 Cup dark corn syrup
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1 bayleaf
- 2 TBS cornstarch
- 3 C cooked bows, drained
- bread crumbs
Directions

Saute onion in cooking oil until limp.

add beef and brown thoroughly.

add tomatoes , corn syrup and seasoning. bring to a biol. Cover and simmer 15 min.

Mix corn starch with reserved tomato liquid. Add to pan and bring to a boil stirring constantly until thickened.
- add bows. Mix well and turn into a 2 qt casserole. Sprinkle top with bread crumbs.

Bake at 350 for 30 min
